An Initmate afternoon Matinee with Los Pacaminos Trio
The Best Tex Mex Americana Trio this side of the Good Ole US of A
Are you ready for a tequila-fuelled journey into Mexican border blues.
The spirit of Tex-Mex lies somewhere between the Mariachi and Norteno styles of Mexico and the Country/Blues sounds of South-West America.
It's played by such luminaries as Ry Cooder, Flaco Jimenez, The Texas Tornados and Los Lobos.
Los Pacaminos Trio are three seasoned musicians in their own right
Drew, Jamie and Woody are gonna give you the best afternoon ever.

Singer/songwriter/ Drew Barfield is an old friend of Joe Jackson, who produced the only album by Drew's band The Keys way back in 1981. Drew also contributed vocals to Joe's album BLAZE OF GLORY and co-wrote one song on LAUGHTER & LUST. Drew has also co-written, sang and played with Paul Young, Joan Armatrading, Level 42, Cathy Dennis, and others, and is currently a member, along with Paul Young, of the Tex-Mex band Los Pacaminos.
Drew is released a new album of original more-or-less Country songs, IT'S BEEN A WHILE, on May 1st 2025. If you're not sure whether you're a fan of more-or-less Country, maybe you'll be tempted by fantastic, soulful vocals, some beautiful songs, and an impressive supporting cast including JJ on piano.

Born in the UK to an English mother and an American father, Jamie was brought up in the US and Japan.
Self-taught from the age of ten, he was playing Hendrix, James Brown, Beatles, Creedence and Sly & the Family Stone covers on US Air Force bases and local TV and radio shows by the age of 13. He followed his family to England when his father retired from the US Air Force.
In 1974 Jamie joined the rock band, Merlin. The band produced one album for CBS and split in 1976. He then worked with Pete Townshend on the original West End production of Tommy in 1979.
By the mid 80s, he was touring with The Hollies and with Eric Burdon before blasting back onto the pop scene in 1987 with his new band, Broken English. After a few hit singles Jamie went on to join Bob Geldof and then The Pretenders briefly in 1990 until the Brian May band beckoned in 1992.
He has been a founder member of the SAS Band since 1993 and has since toured and recorded with Queen + Paul Rogers, Tom Jones, Mike & The Mechanics (guitar and bass), Los Pacaminos and Paul Young, amongst others.
He was also "house guitarist" for all the Nelson Mandela 46664 shows worldwide, and has been a counsellor for the Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp.
Jamie is now one of Britain's busiest freelance guitarist/vocalists.In the year 1997 Jamie called Paul regarding a pedal steel player he'd worked with called Melvin Duffy, and suggested he play on a few songs at the next show. As Paul remembers, "as soon as he took the first solo, we all melted! He had to be in the band, the decision wasn't his to make".
