Euthanasia Training

*This course has been decreased from a 1.5 day course (12 hours) to a 1 day (10 hours) course. There is no longer a hands on portion with animals. All hands on portions will be with dummies. Necropsy and rabies specimen prep will be demonstrated through videos.* All courses prior to August 2024 will be the 1.5 day course.

Euthanasia Training –10 Hours CE

• Methods of Euthanasia, Pharmacology
• Federal and State laws and approved routes of administration
• Proper Administration and Storage
• Routes of Injection and Compressed CO
• Proper Animal Restraint and Handling- Hands on training
• Verifying death and Disposal
• Preparation Packaging and Transport of Rabies Specimen
• Stress Management and Compassion Fatigue
