Managing an animal shelter has its own unique challenges different from any other management job. This course will cover Texas HSC 823, HSC 826, and TAC 169 and how those laws affect shelter construction and animal management. We will discuss current and emerging animal management philosophies and the tools to navigate them. This course is best suited for current animal shelter managers or directors and those wishing to enter the management field.
