In 1986 The Housemartins released their debut album London 0 Hull 4 —

but the story began even earlier.

1986 marks 41 years since The Housemartins first signed to Go-Discs —
with Ted Key as their original bassist and a key part of their early
sound and spirit.

To celebrate this milestone, Ted returns with his new band The VIPs to
perform a live set inspired by that era. The show features fresh
renditions of tracks from London 0 Hull 4, performed by one of the men
who was there at the beginning — before the record deal, before the
fame.

It's a personal, powerful tribute to the roots of one of Hull's most
beloved bands — and a celebration of the journey from London 0 Hull 4 to
London 0 Hull 41.
